About Amber S. Hoffman
Who I Am
I’m Amber S. Hoffman—an entrepreneur, franchise owner, and AI-focused business strategist. And, a life-long world traveler.
My career has taken me through three very different worlds: corporate law, global travel entrepreneurship, and now building and operating businesses in the age of AI.
I started as a corporate tax attorney, spending over a decade working in high-stakes, structured environments where precision, strategy, and risk management mattered. Just before making partner, I made a decision that changed everything—I walked away from the law.
What followed was more than a decade of full-time travel, building businesses from anywhere in the world, and learning how to operate outside traditional systems. That chapter shaped how I think about freedom, adaptability, and what it actually means to build something on your own terms.
Today, I’ve combined those experiences into a different kind of career—one that blends structure and flexibility, strategy and experimentation, business and lifestyle.
What I Do Now
Today, I run and advise multiple businesses while exploring how AI is changing the way people search, make decisions, and choose who to work with.
My work sits at the intersection of:
- How people are actually using AI in real life
- How businesses are (or aren’t) showing up in those decisions
- What it looks like to build and operate businesses using AI in real time
I see this from both sides—running a local service business, advising clients, and experiencing it firsthand as a consumer.
Whether I’m searching for a service at home or trying to find a hotel, restaurant, or experience while traveling, I’m constantly seeing the same thing:
The way people are searching has changed.
Most businesses haven’t caught up.
Why This Perspective Is Different
I’m not looking at AI from the outside.
I’m using it every day:
- To run and grow businesses
- To make decisions faster
- To validate ideas and execute quickly
- To understand how customers are actually searching
- To plan my life
At the same time, I’ve also seen where AI breaks—where information is missing, where recommendations fall short, and where businesses lose opportunities simply because they’re not visible.
That combination—real-world use, skepticism, and constant testing—is what shapes everything I share.
The Role Travel Still Plays
Travel has never been a separate chapter—it’s been a constant thread through everything I’ve built.
We still travel whenever we can, and it continues to shape how I think about business, behavior, and decision-making.
It’s one thing to talk about how people search for services.
It’s another to experience it in real time—in a different city, a different country, or a completely unfamiliar environment.
Travel gives me a front-row seat to:
- How people make decisions under uncertainty
- What information actually matters
- Where businesses succeed—or completely fall short—in being discoverable
It’s also where many of the ideas behind my future projects are taking shape.
What I Share
Across this site and my content, I focus on what’s actually changing right now:
- AI & Business – How AI is reshaping decision-making, marketing, and customer acquisition
- Local Business Visibility – Why businesses aren’t showing up in AI-driven discovery
- Real-World AI Use – What I use every day, what works, and what doesn’t
- Where AI Breaks – The gaps, limitations, and risks most people ignore
- Entrepreneurship & Reinvention – Building and evolving across different stages of life
A lot of what I share starts with simple moments:
Something that worked better than expected.
Something that didn’t work at all.
Or something that made me stop and think—
“How is this still so hard to find?”
This isn’t theory.
It’s what I’m actively experiencing, testing, and building in real time.
Why This Matters
I’ve lived inside structured systems.
I’ve walked away from them.
And I’ve rebuilt more than once.
Right now, we’re in another major shift.
AI isn’t just changing how businesses operate.
It’s changing how they are discovered, evaluated, and chosen.
And from what I’m seeing—both as a business owner and as a consumer—that shift is already happening faster than most people realize.
The businesses that understand this early will have a massive advantage.
The ones that don’t risk becoming invisible.
Where Else to Find Me
The FS Agency
At The FS Agency, I help businesses understand how AI is changing visibility, marketing, and customer acquisition.
Our work focuses on:
- AI audits and readiness
- LLM visibility and discoverability
- Marketing strategy for an AI-driven landscape
The FS Agency works with service-based businesses across home services, hospitality, wellness, and professional services—helping them adapt before they fall behind.
Bumble Bee Blinds of Boulder
As co-owner of Bumble Bee Blinds of Boulder, I operate a home services franchise focused on custom window treatments.
This is where I see everything play out in real time:
- How customers actually search
- What drives trust and conversions
- How AI is influencing local discovery
It’s also where we actively test AI-driven marketing and visibility strategies—and see what actually works. We test all of our AI strategies on Bumble Bee Blinds of Boulder before rolling them out to our clients.
Travel Europe 50+
Travel Europe 50+ is my travel platform focused on helping travelers over 50 explore Europe with more comfort, confidence, and intention.
After more than a decade of full-time travel, this project reflects a different approach:
- More thoughtful travel
- Better planning
- A balance between experience and comfort
It also connects directly to my work today—because travel is one of the clearest examples of how AI is changing how people plan, search, and decide.
What This All Comes Down To
That’s what I’m doing in my own businesses.
And that’s what I share here.
Everything I do—whether it’s running a local service business, advising clients through The FS Agency, or building content platforms like Travel Europe 50+—comes back to the same core idea:
How people make decisions is changing.
AI is reshaping how we search, what we see, and ultimately who we choose to work with, buy from, or trust.
I’m focused on understanding that shift from multiple angles:
- As a business owner
- As a consumer
- And as someone actively building in this new environment
Because the opportunity isn’t just to keep up—it’s to see what’s changing early and adapt ahead of it.
